"Congratulations to everyone who worked to produce this eye-catching stand. What a wonderful way to catch the public eye and rally support for our cause. I also think it is a tribute to the crafters all over the world who have taken the children of…"
"That is so pretty! I'm sure your grandpa is going to love it.
I was also interested to read your measurements because I want to start knitting lap blankets for a local home for destitute aged people."
"I'm always immensely fond of primary colors and these strips are beautiful. Plain janes shine don't they? I think they are often the hidden gems in our blankets, unifying everything and making their own bold statements. Well…"
Hi Jen, unfortunately you email seems to have disappeared into the famous email blackhole on the edge of the cosmos! Maybe when you have had your holiday you could re-send it! Relax and recover completely in France!
Thanks for your very encouraging comment on my dolls. It's funny you asked whether I live in S. Africa b/c I've wanted to go there since the 1980s but never have. I have a South African friend who started an AIDS orphanage in KwaZulu Natal. When I was in my 20s (never mind how many decades ago that was!), the mother of my god child and I decided we had both had a previous life in South Africa. No idea how that conversation came about, but it stuck with me(!)
Your jumpers are lovely---they have a peaceful feel to them. Great photo of the child with the pink and white one.
Is that your grandson with you in the icon photo? He looks like he's bursting with good spirits and fun.
Thanks so much for replying. I hate to ask what is probably going to be a daft question, but in your reply you said that you did the front 4" and the back 5", did you mean 14 & 15". Sorry to ask, I am trying to imagine what you are saying. :)) Or perhaps you meant the armhole was 4" in the front and 5" in the back??? then the 2" straps added on to that. What size chest measurement are these please? Thanks Jen.
Hi Jen, a Merry Christmas to you too :) Yes, its very crowded here in Jbay at the moment, but we need the holiday makers to keep Jbay alive ;) That said I can't wait for January when all is quiet again.
"CreateCare Global has set itself two tasks. The first is physical: to bring hope, support and comfort to children for whom poverty and loss are everyday tormentors. The second, and in our view equally important, is to spread the message to the world."
Our thanks to CreateCare Global for supporting the Square Circle Forum and helping to spread the wonderful work that KAS does.
