Everything counts

After a morning at Rhonda's last week, it became clear that a large KAS need right now is quite simply to sew squares together. Knitted and crocheted squares are coming in thick and fast - thank you! But at the moment we're struggling to convert squares into blankets fast enough.

I like to use my time effectively and efficiently and invest it where needed most.

I've never joined squares before but decided to give it a go. At worst, if it didn't…

Keep it up!

After realizing exactly how the small the world is (meeting Erin at a Baby Expo, discovering Rhonda lives about 2miles from my home....), I had the privilege of joining Rhonda, Erin, Wandi, Lindi and some other ladies at Rhonda's home this morning to help open up packages.

Ladies (and gentlemen) - YOU ARE AMAZING!!!!!!!!

Firstly, the sheer volume of parcels that come weekly from the Post Office simply cannot be fully fathomed without seeing it -…

Hello Tracy - following your query about the Grace vest - yes, it really is that simple! I knit the vest in two identical pieces, a long rectangle for the body and then two garter stitch straps. I love making these as you can just switch off and keep knitting, without having to worry about following a complicated pattern. I have Grace Weir's original pattern as a Word document, which I'd be happy to email over to you.... I know the KAS team are working on a new pattern book, but I don't know when that will be available. All the best, Karen. :)

Tracy, congratulations on your new little bundle! It's wonderful having a big baby - you don't have to worry so much about him losing weight. Enjoy every moment and rest when you can. We're so happy for you!
