A little suggestion for our UK members.......

Since regulations changed for charity shops last year, they can no longer sell soft toys without their labels, so these lovely toys are send to landfill! The manager of one of my local charity shops now saves the toys for me, as she knows they are being sent to needy children in S.Africa. Most of the toys saved are absolutely lovely and will be enjoed by 'our children'. She did check it out with her regional manager initially, and had the ok. I can only send small soft toys because of the cost in postage etc that we all face.

Perhaps others would like to ask at they local charity shops?

anyone sent a Parcel since the change in postal rates , instead of £13.30 for 2kg economy it is now £ 12.05 .according to the Post office web site ordinary parcels is about £20 . now there lots of Knitters I don't think there is any need to send other than at the Cheapest rate. Hope everyone is keeping well

I hadn't remembered there was a KAS UK page.

Knit-a-Square and  Knit-a-Square UK are separate sites.

The Knit-a-Square official FB page is here:   Knit-a-Square Facebook

The link is also available in the box on the bottom right of the Main page.

Yes.  I didn't realise there is a UK page.  I have not seen it mentioned before.

Joan - it shouldn't - are you sure you are looking at the UK page?  There is a page that is Knit A Square which I assume is either USA or international.

Will this affect people who have already Liked the page?  The last post I can see on FB was about KasSnippets on 9th November.

Hi Jayne - here is the link, which I hope will work.  You will be asked 3 questions and then I will approve your application - it is only to save us being swamped with people wanting to sell us sunglasses - or worse!!
