I love the ribbon embellishment for the cards. I'm using set 2 this year also. These cards are wonderful for sending to my retirement home ladies.

Gee, Anne, good thought.  I'm not sure where she went, but will pass this along.  I was always marking zero value, but the last time I mailed on my own (which was a couple of years ago now) they had changed and told me I had to mark $1.

Glo, maybe should try another PO.  I use my little village PO and have no trouble declaring a value of $0, but I think if I went into town, I would have to declare $1.I wonder if she was using one of those PO outlets in a drugstore or whatever. Things are sometimes a bit different there, and they do not always understand the system.

I have a question about parcel values.  One of our dear Stellar Knitters was quite upset when she took her parcel to the P.O. and was told she must declare $10 as the value.  Has anyone else run into this or is it just here in NS?  I'm still checking with our RJSK to see what value they have to declare.  I don't mail my own squares anymore, so I'm really out of the loop here :)

Love the ribbon idea, Christine.  I got my cards printed the other day.  This year I am sending our new ones - Set #2 - and I am thrilled with them.  Last year I used Set # 1 and everyone loved them.

Christine, I love the addition of the ribbon.  Good for you!  You're right, they are great for 'advertising'.  I have used them many times and every time they get rave reviews :) xo

I bought the Christmas card .pdf from the KAS shop last week.  It downloaded quickly and I took it to our local printer who printed the cards while I waited.  He even cut them for me too.  I typed up an insert, added a ribbon, picked up a box of envelopes and they are ready to go. Such a great idea and great advertising too.

Making squares is a perfect pastime for the winter season. Snuggle in as the storms rage. Mind you, here in the middle of November and in the centre of Ontario, we have grass growing.  The snow is forecast to arrive Sunday !

By the way if you've missed it, there is a packing slip and mailing label available.

Thanks! I've just started and hope to contribute soon! Not much else to do in the Great White North during the winter season! Actually I'm located on the West Coast and the weather isn't bad so far, just a little wet

Welcome Diana !  Nice to have another Canadian on board.  This group is very quiet....we must all be busy with our hooks and needles :-)
