Gloria has put together another amazing issue of the Snips that will keep you up to date with the Knit a Square community.

Leanne has a new Podcast where she is interviewing KAS members.

There is some news about the little activity in the KAS Barn.

Our Corona Corner is full of inspiration.

Hi Jenibelle.  I'm over here on the East Coast so have never mailed anything from BC.  However, I assume our costs would be similar through Canada Post.  For us here in NS, it costs just around $40 to mail a 2kg parcel.  I hope this helps ... xo

Hi! I was wondering what it usually costs to ship a parcel to the KASbarn from Canada, BC. Thank you!!

The March Snippets has been posted to the Forum. http://square-circle-forum.ning.com/forum/topics/kas-snippets-march...

In it you will find the latest information about COVID 19 in South Africa.  They are currently in a 21 day lock down, yes, the entire county.  This started on March 26.

We have updates from our March Theme, The Blanket Room and news from our sisters around the world.

We pray that you are managing the restrictions in your individual countries in regards to the Coronavirus.  This is a challenging time for the world.  Our stashes maybe getting smaller in light of staying indoors, and we know your hearts are full of love for the children in South Africa.

Please take care and stay safe.

Update from Ronda about Corona Virus

Things are hotting up in SA regarding Covid-19 - the president due to speak in an hour or two and we suspect it will be the lock down talk.

I have already asked a Lindi, Wandi, Mabel and Nani to make this Tues their last volunteer day until 5th May ... they wanted to continue but it’s not viable as most are using public transport in between times and that is where the most contact transmission will take place. So I’ll do the post tomorrow with Themba for the last time ... and deliver it to the barn ... and that will be the end for more than a month. I’m so sorry to give such bad news but if this virus takes hold in the high density areas it will cause total devastation.

Please do not send any post to South Africa until further notice.

Thanks to all of you for your support of Knit a Square.

Hi Diane, and welcome!  Congratulations on getting your first square made :)).  We'd love to see it if you can share a photo.  Just take a picture of it and add it to our photos section - click the photos tab at the top of this page.

I'm on the opposite "side" of Canada ... Nova Scotia ... but we're drawn close together in our endeavor to send warmth and love to the children in SA ... xo
