Hi Valerie

Many thanks for the tip to wait till I have 5 kgs to send.   Anything to save postage !

The parcel I sent off this week contained 100 squares, i complete balnket, 2 soft toys and about 5 handwarmers. It was just under 5 kgs. I pack everything into a vacuum bag and then put this into  a large plastic bag that is for "gravats", because they're very strong. The maximum size for parcels  sent abroad used to be a total of 150 cm for the 3 dimensions added together. They've increased it to 200 cm this year which is a great help.

That’s good to know, Valerie. Thanks .

Hi Valerie, Ronda informed me that your parcel has not arrived yet in the KAS Office. With sincere apologies. Ronda is aware of the high postage costs and she regrets it that it has not arrived yet.

I (Anneke) think that the parcel most likely has arrived at the airport, but that does not mean that it will be delivered in Joburg immediately, it will take time to get the parcel to the PO in Bryanston. How many days there are between arrival at the airport and delivery at the PO is unknown.

I send my parcels by airmail too, normally it takes 10 days to arrive, but sometimes my parcels are underway for 3 months. I hope you don't get dissappointed and will keep the good spirit up. Your work, input and support for KAS is highly appreciated by Ronda.

Thank you for your suggestions and ideas. Mods, please read my comments under Chit-Chat 2018.

After having been in contact with Ronda and having taken into consideration suggestions and ideas of members and MODS, please find attached the approved REVISED VERSION OF THE JANUARY 2018 SQUARES LIST. Countries and numbers of squares are added to the list.

Thank you !

My pleasure Twinge :)

FYI for those who send parcels containing things OTHER THAN  squares, your names/your parcels are still recorded, as you will see, on the current list.

Thanks for the tip Bev. I will include this sentence in the chapter "New Look".

Oops, sorry Anneke....just thought I would add it for those like me, who don't always interpret a list easily/correctly.  :))  xo

Bev, we are on the same page. When I make the Discussion page I am always unsure about what I have written, and therefore I "think twice" but still am not sure whether it is okay what I have written. Linda always supports me with checking my English and the phrases, which I very much appreciate! I have added your sentence because then it will most likely exclude questions from members. Again thank you so much. xo
