Love the color combination of the teal+orange!

Oh yes, a definite tick of approval from Jess.......and why not?, this blanket is GORGEOUS!!!

It reminds me of the beach and that Summer is just around the corner...for me.

Well done, Chris!!

Chris, we have at least one thing in common: the love for variegated yarn! Love the way you used it together with the darker colours. Aran, (yummy yarn) the child who receives this blanket will be so happy, it is so soft and warm....And Jess is adorable :-)

I love it too, Chris - this is briliant  and I love the fresh colours. Like you,  variegated wool is my favourite yarn.

Wow. So pretty. I really like the teal and navy with the variegated yarn. And I love the cute baby on the blanket to. :)

I am cerebrating!  This week I have been given a big bag of 77 squares, made by Alice of the Earlston Wednesday Club and a friend.   Alice has contributed some much wanted Plain Janes and  colourful striped squares (see  below), and her friend 20 squares in stocking stitch which were curled up and too tricky to photogrpah.  A wonderful effort!  Though it will take me time to "butterfly" them all.

Generosity encapsulated!!!   Fab ✔️✔️✔️

wonderful two plus blankets worth!

Oh Susan, what a wonderful gift. A big thank you to you and your friends. Love the striped ones AND the Pjs, always desperately needed! Butterflying will be a lot of work, but thinking of the children who will be warmed by these beautiful squares I know you will do it with love. xo

Lovely, lovely squares, Susan. A big thank you to Alice and her friends for their bounty of squares.

Thank you, in advance, for butterflying them all....a task I know I don't enjoy.  :))

So many lovely squares!

I find that if I have a friend round to chat with the butterflying task goes so much faster!

Susan, your EWC ladies are a very talented group.  A huge thank you to Alice.  77 squares ... WOW!  Such beautiful colors and lovely work ... xo
