Since I agreed to host this Theme we have, of course, been hit by a bigger Unforeseen that any of us could have imagined, in the form of Covid-19. I've chosen to keep the Theme in the spirit in which it was intended and make it all about the yarn, particularly as we already have Anne's Corona Corner to voice other issues.
Ooo... I am really excited about this theme, as I know I have masses of overlooked wools crying out to be used. Good luck and enjoy hosting Patricia!
Patricia, I think all yarn lovers can relate to this month’s fun theme! I was so pleased to see that you have included one of Anne’s square, her pretty cherry blossom square, in your great intro :))
Can't wait...I have so many projects that fit this theme to a T.
What a super intro, Patricia! How special to see Anne's Cherry Blossoms square from July of 2012. Thank you :))) ... xo
LOVE the intro, Patricia......so many great ideas.... and lovely to see our Anne's crafting, too..
Now where to begin....I have so much 'unforeseen' yarn and quite a few 'unforeseen' appliques. :))
I just love this idea. I shall surely get some squares done for this theme......... I need to get in with my KAS knitting!
Your introduction really makes me want to get on!
My first contribution for this month Patricia. They are all garter stitch because I decided to let the delicious colours do their own thing. ( 5 turquoise/purple, 4 pink/grey and 3 zingy pinks) I have had all 3 examples for a while, and had considered looking for contrasting/toning colours to do striped or 50/50 style squares, but this theme has given me reason to use them alone as * Jazzy PJ's*.
Love your jazzies, Karen. As I've said before, I'm endlessly fascinated by the different patterns that emerge from one ball of yarn.
Karen, the pink ones are yummy, yummy..
Jazzy indeed, Karen. Love the colours.
Karen, your Jazzy PJs are real dazzlers :) I love what the colors have done in these squares ... xo
