Awwww ... Patricia, this is marvellous! Two little ftiends for a child to snuggle up with ... xo
An aran autumn blanket which has a tapestry centre of piglet busy sweeping up the fallen leaves. This tapestry was made many years ago by a wonderful lady called Sally, who sadly passed away last year having reached her nineties. She volunteered for a number of charities, and vulnerable children were close to her heart. She would be very happy that piglet would be helping to keep a child warm.
Jess wanted to join in too :))
The red is actually much brighter than the blanket photo.
Totally GORGEOUS, Chris!! As always, your flair of matching colours with centrepiece is tops!
Your friend, Sally, would absolutely love how you have displayed her beautiful work, as will the lucky little one who receives this blanket.
Jess is looking very pleased with herself....have you broken the news to her that it's not her blanket? :))
Chris, I agree with Bev. Your color choices are absolutely perfect. And what an adorable blanket. I'm sure Jess is just keeping it safe until you can get it wrapped and in the mail ... haha ... xo
What a beauty. Delicious colours and a super way to use the piglet tapestry....and wee Jess as a bonus to this fabulous scene. ✅✅✅
What a special way to use Sally's tapestry. Well done, Chris!
Wow, Bev, amazing squares - I particularly like those curling waves! They really make me want to go and sit on a sunny beach somewhere - definitely not here either! Thank you. (So glad you accidentally doubled your applique order :-) )
No, this wasn't the doubled up order(s)...that is to come....hahaha
Looking forward to that :)
Fabulous squares, Bev. It's still wet and cold here but we can dream ..
