First twelve squares for a girly blanket. The lilac stripes are a little washed out (thanks camera). I used a 200gm ball of a twisted and variegated yarn in the alternating stripes. The colours in that are greens, light & dark purple, a dark pink, white,  pale pink.....let's just say heaps of colours....lol....and as the colourways kept changing in that yarn, I was able to create lots of different squares without trying. :))

16" Unicorn square.

I've used pink sparkly wool for the unicorn and also put some purple sparkle in the border.

I had 500grams of this awfully fine graded/variegated wool which I have used 2 strands of to make 14 squares.    It seems cotton based so they have worked out nice and squidgy feeling.
