Ooooo these squares are gorgeous, so colourful + squidgy warm looking. They'll stand out in a blanket superbly.
Looking forward to many more in whatever pattern you choose. They are such gorgeous sunny colors and as Karen says, squidgy warm looking :)
These squares are a real pick-me-up for me today, Bev. Remember those "green" pictures I sent you? Well ... you'll have to imagine them white (and c~o~l~d) again. Mother Nature has given us another taste of winter. Thankfully she spared us the worst, however.
Unfortunately our friends and neighbors in NL got the worst of it. Thinking of them and wishing them warmth and safety ... xo
Stay warm and safe Gloria.
Fantastic squares, Bev. Pure sunshine and warmth.
What an amazing effect! I look forward to seeing what else you produce from this yarn, Bev.
Bev, I´d like to see your stash. It must be buried treasure! Beautiful squares /as usually/.
Great idea Karla, I would love to see your variegated yarn stash in particular, Bev, please!!
The royal blue yarn is 100% wool and I have it for a very long time, it wasn’t enough to make a blanket, but I knew one day it would have it’s chance to shine....... I think it goes really well with this bright variegated yarn that jumped into my trolley just before Christmas! My sister loves bright colours and blue is her favourite colour, so I knew she would like this one....... this one’s for you sis X
The actual colours are in the photo above, unfortunately they don’t show as well in the photo of the completed blanket below.....
A BEAUTY!! Wonderfully made. Thanks Christine.
My-o-my this is an absolute gem!! I'm never sure what to do with dark blue myself. Well done Chris!
Chris, what amazing blanket you´ve made! It makes a very nice "tweed" pattern. Your sister will certainly love it!
The blue is a perfect match for the variegated yarn, Chris. Two blankets this month and it's still only the 19th - you have been a busy bee!
