Oh Patricia, I love your favourite crochet pattern square very much. It looks divine. Please, can you share the link?
Thank you, Karla. The square is called Velvet & Lace and can be found here:
The pattern is for a 7" square so I add a row or two of half trebles and/or double crochet to make up to 8".
I thought I'd added this bit on but it seems to have disappeared. What I said was that I've realised I'm using English terminology where the pattern uses American. I don't know which you use, Karla, but I'm sure you can work it out.
Thank you Patricia very much. I have no problems with terminology. I know them both UK as well as US.
Wow!! Eight squares, Patricia!! You have used it well. Looks good in the PoM and I just LOVE your velvet and lace square...the centrepiece looks so delicate. :))
Patricia, you have definitely put your matinee jacket to good use! These are beautiful ... xo
I agree with everyone else, it was certainly worth pulling back the abandoned matinee jacket. These squares are really lovely. Well done!
I bought this yarn about 8-10 years ago, not long after I joined KAS, to make a Go-over (which was like a jumper, but a specific pattern created for KAS, by one of our members). One of my many ambitions, unrealized...haha These were knitted using variegated and lemon. PoM.
As I bought two balls of each, expect to see more......
Wow, Bev, these are gorgeous! As many more as you can manage, please!
Hahaha, Lesley...not in the slip stitch square...it seems I have trouble remembering to alternate between one and four stitches. :((
My sympathy, Bev - I often have the same problem :) But any squares in this yarn will be a wonderful addition to a blanket.
