Orange is a great colour choice, Karen. They always give a bright and happy feel to a blanket.

LOVE your stripes!! Especially the white and the blue...real eye poppers. I LOVE me a bit of orange moss stitch, too.  :))

A lovely surprise yesterday when Alice and Isabel from Earlston Wednesday Club brought me a huge bag of knitted  squares - 92 in all - 62 colourful plain janes and 30 striped !!  A wonderful contribution.

Wonderful indeed, Susan .. and such pretty colours.

A MASSIVE THANK YOU to all at the EWC!!    What a fabulous, generous and colourful collection of squares. ❤️

WOW!! That's fabulous!!

The pjs will be sooooo appreciated by the ladies in the KAS Barn, when they are mixing and matching squares to create blankets.

LOVING the stripes!!

Amazing collection - well done, EWC!

Goodness me, Susan, your ladies of the EWC are an amazing group!  Thank you to each and every one of them for this fabulous pile of beauty and warmth!  xo

Very bright neon green (nothing like the picture!), unfortunately my only contribution to this month's theme - I had planned to make some dark/bright contrast squares, but find I can no longer work with very dark yarn. Reminded that I'm getting old :((

Thank you for these super-neat beauties Lesley.     I've not even touched my NEON green this month - yet - I can't knit fast enough/or as fast as I hope!!          Is that a sign of getting older too??      Ha, ha - we all get what we can accomplished no matter how long it takes though.... Right?

These are a beautiful colour, Lesley, even if it's not true to life! Did you read the comments about working with dark yarn on pages 4&5 of this discussion? Welcome to the club.

Oh dear, Lesley!! I was just about to comment on your pretty, pastel green squares...then I read your comment underneath the photo...oops!!

I feel your pain, it took me six photos to get one of them to show the neon green in my squares......bad, bad cameras!!!

Your squares are SUPER neat, if that's any consolation.  :))

Leslie, these are terrific!  I certainly know the feeling of owning (as Bev so aptly put it) a bad, bad camera ... hahaha  Don't worry, though, because when they arrive in a blanket and a child sees them, they will be absolutely the correct color and shade of green ... xo
