Oh Karen - I thought I was being silly! Highly commendable but I think I'll just give up on navy blue when these balls are finished.
Good idea - until someone says they've got some spare dark wool, + insist you have it to use as would go to waste..... I've seen myself being given wool I'd rather not have, but simply cannot say "no" to.
A beauty in blue.
Patricia you combined perfectly dark and colourful yarn and made beautiful squares.
Patricia -Your spike stitch I have never seen before, but it is so effective against the dark background.
I love the pattern in this square, Patricia. You've certainly turned a drab yarn into a beautiful piece of art!! A child will love this ... xo
I think your 'diamond' square looks SUPER, Patricia. I am wondering how much I am going to like knitting in navy, too.
Hubby has one of those 'miners headlamps', too....if all else fails....haha.
My sister bought me one of these huglight, flexible lamps that I have found quite good, too.
I had such a giggle thinking of all of us sitting at home with lights attached to our heads or round our necks. Perhaps we should post selfies?!
I don't like my picture taken at the best of times, I don't think I would be excited at showing myself to the world, with lights around my neck......hahahaha.
Now this light looks interesting, Bev. Gotta see if I can find one.
I'm giggling with you, Patricia. We'd be a funny looking group sitting in a circle with our yarn, hooks and needles, and our "necklights" ... hahaha ... xo
We could do with those Bev...very handy for when we have load shedding.
