Things that could be done with excess yarn or scrappies,

but this is not the way Knit-a-Square members like to go!

We take our stashes, however organised or disorganised, and, produce fabulous squares, hats, hand-warmers and cuddly toys!

Looking through the photo tab on the menu bar, is a wonderful source of inspiration.

This lovely blanket is a classic example of what can be achieved by using those 'odd' bits and pieces in order to generate something of value and true beauty!

Whether your like creating grannies, shapes or stripes using happy scrappies make the most delightful squares

Sorry Bev, it wasn't my intention to play favourites! Luckily I have these two on my growing pile:

These squares will look very effective in  blanket Patricia!

All is forgiven, Patricia....lol....these two are DIVINE!!!

I knew that pinks and purples would elevate an already beautiful stitch to SUPREME heights!!  :))

Super squares, Patricia - I love the effect created by the linen stitch in different colours.

I was just finishing up some scraps of green yarn but once I'd completed this square I thought it had a decidedly Irish look about it:

Another great square, Patricia, and yes, a definite touch of the Irish!

Wow, wow, WOW!! That is one stunning square.....and I'm not much of a 'green' person, usually.  :))

Beautiful, Patricia!  You've certainly  put your scraps of green to good use :) ... xo

Green is everyone favourite colour, but this design is very very effective! You have certainly entered the spirit of Happy Scrappies! Thought you deserved a tasty treat!

Such beautiful results already !

Thanks Pam for the lovely intro and giving us an 'opportunity' to clear out our stash in preparation for the new year.

I like to make medallions as I go along.  Here are a few that will soon be 8 inch squares.

2018 December - Happy Scrappies

They are REALLY pretty, Linda...it will be interesting to see how you finish them all.  :))

Great use of 'scraps', Linda - the finished squares will really zing!
