Things that could be done with excess yarn or scrappies,

but this is not the way Knit-a-Square members like to go!

We take our stashes, however organised or disorganised, and, produce fabulous squares, hats, hand-warmers and cuddly toys!

Looking through the photo tab on the menu bar, is a wonderful source of inspiration.

This lovely blanket is a classic example of what can be achieved by using those 'odd' bits and pieces in order to generate something of value and true beauty!

Whether your like creating grannies, shapes or stripes using happy scrappies make the most delightful squares

Apologies, I'd got it into my head that the 1st of the month was next Wednesday !!!, however, have managed to get back on track and assembled this months Happy Scrappies Theme several hours overdue! To kick-start is a square I made whereby I used up a dark brown piece of scrap yarn - thankfully the orange worked its magic!

Lovely granny, Pam.  Your square, i mean ... not you ... hahaha  And a great intro!!  I love how the festive touch :))) ... xo

A very festive intro to the theme with many ideas.

Love the vibrant orange color of this square. Thanks, Pam.

Great introduction, Pam!!!

Very inspiring intro Pam. KAS folk will be pleased to use up yarn after a busy year. I am looking forward to seeing what the scrappy bits will make.

Wow Pam, your great intro got me thinkin about all the little things I can do with my scraps and stash.

Thanks for all the ideas.

Great intro, Pam!!

LOVE the colour combo in your first granny.  :))

2nd Two lots of 2C2 scrappies from Jude :

Incredibly beautiful masterpieces, Jude!  xo

Masterpieces, indeed ! Great work, Jude. Thanks.

GORGEOUS colours in one of my fave (to look at) crochet patterns.

Excellent introduction to this theme Pam.    All that colour is just a joy to behold!

My first happy scrappy contribution is these 17 pairs of handwarmers...........

I'm working on some hats just now and find the use of my little bits and pieces really liberating and enjoyable!
