With the start of 2019, we want to celebrate cute, cuddly, huggable, soft toys of all kinds, and then see them in distributions throughout the year along with blankets, handwarmers, and beanies.
We have our very own KAS Cuddlebug Pattern
We love Charity Store finds, toys from closet clean-outs,
and toys from children's donations.
We love hand-made toys, whether they be knitted, crocheted, or loomed.
Every child loves having a soft toy to call their own.
Please help us make this happen for all the children that will receive a
KAS Package this year. Remember that a KAS Package is a blanket of 35 squares, a pair of hand-warmers, a beanie and a toy. Please share photos your squares, blankets, beanies and hand-warmers with us, too.
We can't wait to see your contributions of love!
Flamingoes are such 'funny' birds - these will cheer the children Bev!
Aww, they are soooo cute....no prizes for guessing which one is my fave. :))
It was just brought to my attention that people might only post pictures of toys to this theme this month. Oh NO, we want to see all the goodies that you are creating for KAS. Squares galore! Completed Blankets all colorful and bright. Beanies to warm all shapes and sizes of heads. Hand-warmers so what little one can write and color with some warmth.
Let start the New Year right with an abundance of goodies to make up KAS Packages.
I big SORRY to everyone for the confusion.
Thanks Amy...it is my intention to get to some 'toy' squares....just haven't got there yet. :))
Love, love, LOVE your 'toy' squares, Chris. Truly delightful !!
What a doll !! Loving the flowers in her hair and that gorgeous outfit. :))
Amy, your toy themes are always such fun and they fill up with the most incredible handmades and finds! Bright and colorful squares, hats, handwarmers and toys! toys! toys! Everything is sure to put big smiles on little faces. Well done, everyone ... xo
Amy, I may not get to make toys for you theme, but I would like to pass along a link to these very cute dolls made by Annie in 2013 as shown in Members Patterns - Toys you can find her pattern here
Thanks for sharing this link.
These cuties are so colorful and just the perfect size to fit into a small hand.
Sandra Jones has been busy again. Here are another 100 dolls for the children.
Sandra how do you do it? That makes 200 dolls posted so far this month and it is only the 7 of January.
Thank you so much and I know the children will love these. I also really enjoy seeing them in the distribution photos.
