Welcome to the 2019 KAS Blanket Room.  We invite you to view many of the wonderful blankets that are made from our crafters efforts.  Eight inch (20 cm) squares and completed blankets make their way to the KAS Barn and will eventually be featured on this discussion page.  We hope that you might see one of your creations.

Many thanks to the crafters, gogos and sewing warriors that sew the squares into blankets.

Happy Viewing

Such a gorgeous collection this is....so many pretty colours, snazzy stripes and terrific textures and....'our Jude's' cute teddies.  :))

Oops, it seems I also repeated a blanket, posted a few days ago.  :)) Sometimes Ronda sends pics of a blanket twice over a couple of weeks and I try to remember them all, but there is just so many. Anyway, the blanket is gorgeous and certainly worth a second viewing.  :))

The last of last Tuesday's squares.

Beautiful creations!

Thank you.   Honestly our crafting members and finishing off teams are just getting better and better - what a joy to peruse.

So many! So beautiful!

Ronda asked me about Geneviève Cayol's 5th blanket which has an elephant on it. It was sent in another parcel as I couldn't fit it in with the other 4. It was sent on May 9 with another blanket , 30 squares and 48 toys. I think it has already arrived.

Here's the photo of the elephant blanket.

Wow Valerie! Genevieve is very talented....what a gift to treasure for the lucky little ones who receive these.

OMG! Valerie these blankets are just beautiful! I wish I had this much talent. These will be a delight to the lucky recipients!

Lots more beautiful blankets sewn by the Gogos and various other groups....

So much fun to see all the color and different designs.

Thanks bunches for posting all these photos, Bev.

Thank you for this colourful bounty Bev! Kx

Oops, forgot to post the last of last week's pics. The first seven blankets were stitched together by Estelle and her group, then a baby blanket from Waterval (retirement village) and then the remainder sewn together by various groups.

Missed this beauty....

CREATECARE GLOBAL

"CreateCare Global has set itself two tasks. The first is physical: to bring hope, support and comfort to children for whom poverty and loss are everyday tormentors. The second, and in our view equally important, is to spread the message to the world."

Our thanks to CreateCare Global for supporting the Square Circle Forum and helping to spread the wonderful work that KAS does.
