It's always a treat to see so many wonderful colourful blankets. Thank you Pam.
Lots more colour and warmth! I'm pleased to see my blue blanket for the boys theme earlier this year, it's on top of my dark red and cream Christmas blanket. Thanks, as always, for the lovely photos!
Gorgeous, gorgeous blankets. So much lovely colour.
Oooo, that hexagon blanket is amazing. I always wanted to try one of those. Maybe during a scrappy/stash month????
I agree, Amy, but surely there'd be almost as much sewing as crochet - I don't think I'd have the patience for that!
A LOT of time gone in to sewing that pretty hexagonal squared blanket and the granny one made with small grannies and other small patterned ones, I would think.
I see Christine Johnson's counting square in the very first blanket. :))
Beautiful blankets. That hexagon is stunning, but, as you said, that's a lot of sewing and weaving in to be done.
There are some gorgeous grannies too.
From Estelle :
My blanket for the week. Thanks Audrey for sharing these squares I think they are from The Czech Republic.
Such a lovely warm blanket thank you Rae Logie. Such warm colours and thanks Janet Pereira for helping me trying to get all these blankets edged at our Father’s Day lunch.
More chocolate chip cookies, cupcakes and sweets... thanks Marioth Brown for stitching these lovely squares together and thank you Fleur Downer for crocheting these squares for KNIT A SQUARE. I’m sure it will go with Mabel to her distribution tomorrow...another warm child tomorrow night.
Another lovely blanket from Des Friend from RMB. Thanks Des it’s arrived just in time for our winter
Four fabulous blankets from Audrey Diehk. The pink /green one is stunning thank you Audrey and the contributors who crocheted and knitted these squares for Knit a square.
All these blankets are fabulous. I'm forever amazed at the wonderful things KAS members achieve, from the knitters and crocheters to the sewers and edgers.
Totally agree with everything you say, Valerie. :))
