I was just adding my goodies to the 2012 Squillion challenge topic, and noticed that baby blankets are listed amongst the items sent.
Just wondering, what sort of baby blankets are these? Does it mean knitted/crocheted baby blankets or just any kind of baby blanket? If any kind can be sent I have a few polar fleece baby blankets here that I used to use for wrapping items in transit (when traveling). I no longer use them and they are still in pristine condition, so was wondering if they would be useful to KAS?

Wendy, fleece baby blankets would be more than welcomed in South Africa and Zimbabwe. Generally we try to send larger blankets but sometimes one has smaller ones lying around, or some get donated or some dear old soul makes one just for us and we won't turn any away as the need for warmth of any kind is so great. The fleece blankets you name might also make great "ground mats" for the children sleeping on the ground, keep the cold off them. However they get used, believe me they will be recieved with delight! Polar fleece blankets and hats, so sturdy, are always welcome. :D
