Thanks for this information Anneke.

Looks like October will have a bumper crop of squares and blankets.

My pleasure Amy. Indeed October will most likely have a bumper crop of squares and blankets recorded!

Lovely to know my parcels have arrived safe and sound. xx

That's good to hear Harrison's mom!

Anneke - I knew already that the parcels I sent in September arrived in September (from France it seems only airmail is used) because Estelle has already made up one of the blankets!   Thank you so much for all the hard work of the moderators.   It is so reassuring to know when parcels arrive !

Hi Jill, Good to hear that. Sometimes that happens to my parcels too. the Netherlands also uses airmail. And when my parcels has not been recorded yet e.g. because there is a backlog or logistic problems from airport to Post Office, Estelle already has made a blanket of my squares :) In all those years of KAS it really seldom has happened that a parcel has gone astray.

Thank you for this update. My parcels seem to arrive with you in a different order than I sent them - but they always turn up!! .   Your diligence is appreciated very much indeed X

Thank you Karen. The arrival of parcels: KAS is dependent on arrival of surface mail and airmail - at the airport or harbour - after that it  has to go a long way to the Post Office in Bryanston. Also there is a daily pile up of parcels at the PO in Bryanston, so parcels you have sent earlier can be received and recorded by KAS later than recently sent parcels. This explains or is most likely the reason why your parcels arrive in a different order. xo

This reminds me that I need to get counting out bundles of 10 squares and parcelling them up ready to send......
